If you enjoy being up-to-date on tech trends, this is for you. Here’s what’s hot right now:
1. Researchers have developed a new technology that enables drones to mimic human sense of balance to recover stable flight from any position and land autonomously in failure situations.
Researchers have said that it will even be possible to launch drones by simply tossing them into the air like a baseball. “Drones will be safer and smarter, with the ability to identify safe landing sites and land automatically when necessary” they added.
“Our new technology allows safe operation of drones beyond the operator’s line of sight, which is crucial for commercial use of drones, such as parcel delivery,” said Professor Davide Scaramuzza, co-inventor and Director of the Robotics and Perception Group at the University of Zurich.
2. Samsung Galaxy S6 will finally hit stores on Friday,10th April, 2015 with some lucky fans getting their hands on them a day earlier. The Galaxy S6 will be coming in two different variants: a regular model and a curved Galaxy S6 Edge that features a unique display. The two devices will take over the flagship role from the Samsung Galaxy S5. Samsung’s two flagship models come with some attractive features including a new design language based on glass and metal, Quad HD displays that offer striking resolution, upgraded cameras with Optical Image Stabilization, tons of storage options and three colours.

5. Twitter just officially launched its “retweet with comment” feature, which it began testing last summer. “Retweet with comment” allows users to embed a tweet in their own tweets, which lets them get around Twitter’s 140-character limit when they write their own commentary. The feature is now available on Twitter’s site and iPhone app and will be available on Android app soon.
