$3,000 Stipend Available In The Innocent Chukwuma African NGO Leadership Transition Fellowship Program

  Founders of Non-Governmental Organizations are invited to apply for the Innocent Chukwuma African Leadership Transition Fellowship Program (ICLTFP). This program is designed to support NGO and aid sector leaders who want to transition away from their present position.

The ICLTFP will enable non-profits headed by the transitioning leader to remain fully active after their leaders’ departure, and make it easier for successors to emerge who will maintain the functional momentum that the organizations have built up thus far. The ICLTFP is organized by the Association for Research on Civil Society in Africa (AROCSA) and the Center of African Philanthropy and Social Investment (CAPSI) at the Wits Business School in Johannesburg, South Africa. The program is funded by the Ford Foundation.

The Application Process

Persons interested in being fellows can apply for the fellowship on the AROCSA website. They are expected to submit the following: Applications will remain open until Monday, November 15, 2021. Application reviews and interviews of applicants via Zoom will take place on December 5, and fellowship awardees will be informed of their status on January 15.
