$250,000 In Startup Funding Available In The WFP Digital Health Innovation Accelerator 2021

  The World Food Program (WFP) is inviting mature startups and solution providers with a running focus on healthcare to apply for its Digital Health Innovation Accelerator.

This program exists to enable the WFP to leverage the capabilities of qualified startups to build and support pandemic preparedness in low and middle-income countries. The ultimate aim will be to fast-track the recovery of communities from the ravages of the COVID-19 pandemic. The World Food Program Digital Health Innovation Accelerator is driven by the WFP Innovation Accelerator, with support from Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), KfW, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and the GIZ.

The Leadup To The Accelerator

Applications for the WFP Digital Health Innovation Accelerator will remain open until Sunday, November 21, 2021. Submitted applications will be judged based on these criteria: impact and scalability, team diversity and gender balance, novelty, traction, and the viability of their business model. Startups chosen from the field of applicants will participate in an innovation Bootcamp from January 17 to 21, 2022.
