2022 BET Awards: Tems Becomes First Nigerian Woman To Win Best International Act

Superstar singer TemiladeOpeniyi, popularly known as Tems made history on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at the Microsoft Theatre, Los Angeles, USA after emerging the winner of the Best International Act category in the 2022 BET Awards. Tems became the first Nigerian female artist to win the award category in history after beating Nigerian artist, Fireboy; Tayc (France); Fally Ipupa (Congo); Dinos (France); Little Simz (UK); Major League (South Africa); and Ludmilla (Brazil).

The Crazy Tins crooner did not hide her excitement at clinching the forward and went further to dedicate it to women around the globe.
