The Nigeria men’s Table Tennis team and Chukwuebuka Enekwechi both won Nigeria her first set of Silverware in their respective events. Following their win over the English team in the semi-final of the men’s Table Tennis event, the Nigerian Table Tennis team made up of Segun Toriola, Bode Abiodun and Olajide Omotayo took on India in the final of the event but failed to replicate their earlier performances as they lost 3-0 to place second, wining the Silver medal. American born Nigerian, Enekwechi, however set a Personal Best (PB) of 21.14m in the Shot Put event to win the Silver Medal.
