The DFS Lab and the Stellar Development Foundation have announced that they are receiving entries for their Blockchain Bootcamp. Early and mid-stage FinTech, crypto and blockchain startups in Africa are invited to apply. The Blockchain Bootcamp is designed to get African startups building on Stellar, a blockchain network for financial products and services. Selected startups will participate in a three-day virtual Bootcamp, culminating in a demo day where they will pitch their products. The top startups at the demo day will be awarded from 5,000 to 20,000 USDC.

There will also be an opportunity for funding from the Stellar Development Foundation’s Enterprise Fund, and from other investors who will attend the demo day. The Bootcamp At the Bootcamp, startups will work with technical support from DFS Lab and the Stellar Development Foundation to define a problem, come up with a solution, and quickly develop a prototype of that solution. Eligibility

FinTechs, blockchain native companies, and crypto-curious companies operating in Africa can apply.
Use cases that could be explored include cross-border or multi-currency payments, access to financial services, financial inclusion in emerging markets, banking, payment processing, lending, payroll and treasury management.

Route To The Demo Day
