A hundred million licences of Microsoft’s new Operating System, Windows 8 — patterned for tablet PC experience — has been sold. This comes six months after its release and growing comparison with Windows 7 that had 240 million in licence sales — in its first year.
Reviews have been mixed for Windows 8, prompting Microsoft to announce the release of an update — later this year, called Windows Blue. Windows Blue would have a Start Button — missing in Windows 7 and would also fix many of the user experience issues in Windows 8.
