Innovators who are accepted into the Project I2M program will receive training, Minimum Viable Product development, Intellectual Property (IP) filing, seed funding, and business registration, among other kinds of support. This program is funded by the UK’s Research and Innovation Systems for Africa (RISA) and is being implemented by the Lagos State University’s Innovation and Technology Management Office (ITMO).

Benefits
Persons selected for this program will benefit from it in the following ways:- Up to ₦2 million in funding for the development of a prototype
- Filing for the protection of Intellectual Property for their innovation
- A place in a co-working space at the University of Lagos
- Help from Innovation Product Managers, available throughout the program
- Assistance with linking their innovation to the industry they are targeting with it

Eligibility
This program is open to persons with innovative ideas for a solution to some of society’s most pressing challenges. This includes innovators who want to introduce their product to the market via the vehicle of a startup. Note that the program is particularly keen on receiving applications from women, young people, and persons with disability. Applications for this program will end on March 30, 2023.
