This year’s edition of the NCC Annual Innovation Competition is the third. It is themed “Utilizing Indigenous Digital Solutions to Bridge the Digital Divide.” In line with this theme, the NCC will be supporting and rewarding home-grown solutions developed by players in the Nigerian ICT space.
Benefits
The top startup or tech hub will win ₦2 million. The first and second runners-up will get ₦1.5 million and ₦1 million each. Other competitors will receive consolation prizes.Eligibility

- The solution should be relevant to the ICT industry and the markets it serves
- Must be registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
- Should have a well-defined proof of concept that also demonstrates the novelty of the solution
- Their pitch should detail the startup’s (or tech hub’s) plan to ensure its sustainability and profitability
- The solution must incorporate local capacity and should be developed and managed by a diverse team

Prizes will be awarded to winners on February 9, 2023. Entrants into the competition will be required to submit these items online while applying:
- A 4-page summary of the project concept
- A 5-7 minute video of the pilot project
- The names, passport photographs, profiles, and contact details of every team member
