ARM, one of Nigeria’s leading asset and fund management firms, is organizing this program in partnership with TechnoVision’s TVC Labs. Through it, ARM aims to identify ventures that help to create wealth in the country. The initiative is part of ARM’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) operations. The final event of the DAAYTA program will take place virtually, and will see finalists pitch their solutions for a chance to win the grand prize.
Benefits
The winning startup will receive a prize of ₦12 million, which will be paid over a period of one year. This prize will support the winner in these ways:Sign up for the Connect Nigeria daily newsletter
- Cover the need for working capital
- Support their participation in an entrepreneurial education program, which will be held at the Enterprise Development Center of the Pan Atlantic University in Lagos
- Accelerator support services at the TVC Labs spread over a period of five months; this is designed to develop their startup and prepare it for success in the markets that it targets
Eligibility
ARM expects applicants to meet these criteria:Register to attend the CN Business Mixer
Be a citizen of Nigeria aged between 18 and 35 years
- Submit their application which introduces their original work
- Have a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that has gained traction in their target market (i.e. must have gained customers)
- Should be able to fund their team’s travel expenses if the need arises
- Must be available for the 2-day pitch workshop and a final pitch event, which will take place in April 2023
- Understand the work that ARM does
