, 2019 presidential aspirant under the Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN) flag, is seeking to foster women’s participation in Nigerian politics. ANN has created a platform where young women are invited to participate in building a new Nigeria.
“Nigeria has the lowest female representation in elective positions in West Africa. Women had a 6.1% representation in State Houses of Assembly, 3.9% in the House of Representatives, 7.34% in the Senate and almost 0% in the Executive arm of government.”
Durotoye will be hosting a town hall meeting in Lekki on Tuesday, 10th July for young business women. INEC
officials will be present to register those who are yet to get their permanent voter’s cards
. This event will serve as a great opportunity to meet and network with like-minded women. Attendance is FREE
