In Jos, Plateau United ensured that the title race remained tight after a 3-0 win over league champions Akwa United on Sunday. Goals from Silas Nenrot, Ibrahim Buhari, and Izuchukwu Chimezie saw Plateau maintain second place in the league table, one point adrift of Rivers United.
