3. Send Timely Responses: Having a one-sided conversation on social media is a sin. Therefore, a conversation will work fine when there is input from both sides. Show your presence by way of replying to mentions, comments, and direct messages. This way, you can show your followers that your brand cares about them. As a consequence, you will get more mentions, comments, and direct messages. You need to be fair in your responses; address both positive and negative feedback within 24 hours time frame. 4. Produce Engaging Content: Your could make create relevant social media content for your followers. Your social media posts should be educative, entertaining, or helpful to your followers. 6. Grab Your Audience’s Attention with Visuals: They need something to stop their scrolling through social media, and that would be possible they find videos, photos, and infographics on their feed. Hence, uploading visual content which will lead to more engagement overall.

7. Create a Post Schedule and Follow it: When do you post on social media? How often do you post? Surely, these have an impact on the engagement levels you see. Post schedules, as usual, depending on when your audience is most active online and the platform they use. You should track your audience metrics and adjust accordingly.

8. Host Social Media Contests: Running a social media contest or giveaway will spur a lot of people to interact with you.  Giveaways have been proven to create some sort of buzz, and increase social media reach.  Every social media contest that you host should be designed to entice your audience with a prize and encourage them to engage with your content by either following, liking, sharing, commenting, or tagging.
