From what I remember, it was to be “cool” to fit in with a certain crowd.
As far as I could remember I did not fit in with anyone and wanted to be a part of something.
I just wanted people to enjoy my presence and
to like who I was, but to tell you the truth, I didn’t know who I was and I didn’t like myself.
I felt worthless from a young age and that developed into an even lower level of self-esteem as a teenager.
But it’s always for the first time. I’ve realized it was all a mistake that I truly felt sorry about it.
Being you is always a struggle especially to be able to
fit with others. But today, I’ve been genuinely happy with all my
loved ones supporting me with my sobriety. Thanks to their
help.
Because of them, I am alive, thriving, and happy for the first time in many years.
They’ve not only saved my life but reinvented my
family structure as well.
