Walk for sight is a charity organization aimed at eradicating visual impairment among Nigerians who can’t afford it. Last year, they offered free eye tests and free glasses to over 250 people. Come 13th of February this year, Walk 4 Sight is set to host another walk to create awareness and raise funds with an objective of not less than 1000 beneficiaries for free eye tests, drugs and glasses. The communities to benefit are Itedo, Jakande, Elegushi Maroko and Agungi in Lagos State. Volunteers are needed. You can participate by joining in the walk, buying a t-shirt (₦3000, whose proceeds go to the initiative), donating to the cause and sponsoring the event. Click here to complete an online Volunteering Form. For information on sponsorship, log on to http://www.walk4sight.org or call Dr. Odiri on 08023323405.
