Dambe is a street boxing culture popular in the Northern part of Nigeria. The culture involves martial art that started as a practice for men to get ready for war in the Hausa kingdom.

The participants of the fight often end up with serious bodily injuries and many of the techniques used in the fight allude to warfare. In our video of the week, popular Youtuber Tayo Aina takes us on a tour to the city of Abuja to witness the fights and understand the culture of the Dambe fighters.
