Nollywood is replete with movies but not many of them have been made in the short film category. Short films have proven to be equally as entertaining and easier to watch especially if you are a very busy person. They most often range from about 10 to 30 minutes. Here are few short movies we recommend.

The Housewife

The 10-minute drama is directed by Jay Franklin Jituboh, produced by Sidomex and stars Blossom Chukwujekwu, Kiki Omeili, and Kachi Nnochiri.

She embarks on a fishing trip on her own with the hope of proving herself valuable to the community and break the prevalent gender stereotype. On her journey, she is shown a side to reality she has never knew existed when she meets a wise old man.

This fantasy movie produced in 2017 stars Wale Ojo, Somkele Iyamah-Idhalama, Halimat Olarenwaju, and Karibi Fubara.

Hanatu

The Dark Box This Yemi Jolaoso produced film is a multiple award winner. It stars Seun Kentebe and Linda A Osifo as Fido and Kiki respectively. It tells the story of Fido who is eager to win Kiki’s heart using his time machine. Unknown to him, his box has a dark side.
