Using wall decal (wall stickers) or having a mural painting on your wall is another way of adding beauty to your home. You can do the wall decal yourself but for the mural painting, you might need to get a professional. You can get a simple one done for as low as N10, 000.
- Paint your door – Leave the tradition
Paint your door white to make your home look stylish. Leave the tradition of having a brown door on your way. It’s your apartment, you paid for it, you can do anything you like with it. Mind you, you cannot use the same type of paint you use for your wall for the door. Gloss paints are used for doors.
- Furniture – Go all the way
Do not compromise when it comes to furniture. Go all the way. Furniture is one of the items that make up a beautiful home. Choose a very nice design. Make sure the size and shape do fit into the room. It doesn’t matter if your chairs are fabric or leather but make sure the colour blends into the theme of the room. Don’t go off it. Your TV console should be proportional to the size and shape of the wall, your coffee table should fit in perfectly, also in size and shape. You can never go wrong with furniture if it’s well put together and it’s made up of nice design.
- Wall clock – Do more
Wall clock is another form of accessory in the house. A uniquely designed clock speaks loud. Invest in them.
- Calendar – Yes it’s the date
No calendar on the wall please. Especially in the living room. You can have it in the kitchen or study but please not in the living room. It will ruin all your designs. If you must, be very, very creative with it and make sure is a very lovely calendar
- Wallpaper – Add some touch
Having a wallpaper on the wall will give the room some form of premium touch. It makes the room nice and cosy. You can have it pasted if you can go one extra mile with your budget.
