I remember vividly the first time I read one of Adedoyin Jaiyesimi’s articles. It was a delightful experience and I quickly became a fan because she writes in such a beautiful and relatable way – with an easy flow and an appropriate dash of humour; leaving you refreshed and enlightened.
Read some of her articles here.
When I heard she had started a writers’ hub (Sparkle Writers), I went to find out more and I wasn’t disappointed. Recently, I was told she now has a YouTube channel and … you guessed right, yours truly went to check it out. In her first video, she shares the story of her journey into the world of writing and the people that inspired/helped her along the way.
Thumbs down: The video quality isn’t so great. A better camera would help in subsequent videos.
Thumbs up: I enjoyed the conversational style. She kept it fresh, simple and insightful.
Summary: I liked and subscribed to see more of her videos – you should too!
In fact, I won’t say more; just enjoy her first video, The Introduction below.
