The Student Energy Career Training Program centres on “African Women in Energy”, specifically African women between the ages of 18 and 30 who are passionate about advancing their energy sector careers.
Who Can Apply
- The Career Training program welcomes applications from African women aged 18-30 who aspire to build careers in sustainable energy.
- This program operates entirely online and is conducted in English.

Candidates must satisfy these criteria:
- Proficiency in English: Can you communicate effectively in English with international colleagues, SECT mentors, and industry professionals?
- Educational Background: Have you finished or are you currently pursuing post-secondary education (certificate, diploma, or degree) in any field of study?
- Stable Internet Connection: Can you access a reliable internet connection for virtual meetings, online assignments, and peer collaboration?
- African Heritage and Residence: Do you hold African citizenship and currently reside within an African nation?
