Stella Damasus is making a grand return to her acting career in a brand new feature film, Between.
The actress last featured in the multi award-winning Robert Peters movie, Affairs of the Heart, a 2015 film which also featured Nigerian actors, Joseph Benjamin and Beverly Naya. Before her hiatus, she was one of the most popular actresses in Nollywood.
The Movie
Between, written and directed by Daniel Ademinokan, is set in Atlanta and has Stella playing the feisty, daring, energetic, feminist, Chelsea Hollis, a successful woman in her mid-thirties who has suffered four divorces. A workaholic by day and a party freak at night. She helps couples with their relationships but has given up on love herself. She ultimately has become a hardline feminist, believing that women should rein in their emotions and live care-free. One of such escapades brings her in contact with Scott Hamilton and this changes her perception of love, but she soon finds out that there is more to him than she expected.
Between stars Stella Damasus, alongside Travis Grenier, Erin E. Feest, Tatiana Zappardino and Lynne Jenson. It is scheduled to premiere on the 7th of October, at the GlennFest Film Festival 2018 in Downey, California.
