Take Heart ‘A heart rending story about a boy needing a heart transplant’ Take Heart is a play written by Jo Demmer, directed by Gbenga Yusuf, presented by Star Arts Stage Productions and showing this August at Terrakulture. Take Heart, If you love to see a lot of expression in dance, then this play is for you. The actors talk and dance their way through close to two emotion laden hours. Love, sorrow, pain and despair all shine through as the players own the stage. The narrator is medical doctor, who enlightens the audience on not just the facts and figures related to heart disease, but also on the issues being addressed as the story flows along. Take Heart- Get ready to smile, laugh, be amazed, excited, shocked, tired, angry, offended, and finally, satisfied. On for the next few Sundays in the month of August- 3pm, then 6pm. Tickets N2,500.
