In addition, it acquires and supplies machinery, plants, and industrial chemicals to businesses that need them. Incorporated in 1998, Alpha-Praxis was registered by the Federal Works Registration Board the year after. This enabled it to take on contracts of any size in its area of speciality. It was also registered by the Department of Petroleum Resources to take on construction, civil and mechanical engineering projects. It has since gone on to register with Federal and State governments and gain the trust of many medium and large-scale private companies. Alpha-Praxis’s offerings are split into two broad categories: engineering services and procurement services. The company helps its clients to put such things as CCTV, burglar alarms, fire alarms, access control and other low-voltage installations in place. Larger scale works, including cable layering and termination, power supply, and mast erection are among the services it delivers to organizations in the public and private sectors. What’s more, it constructs buildings and ensures that proposed and new structures meet standards set by regulators. Beyond the civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering tasks that it takes on, Alpha-Praxis also supplies a specific collection of products to oil companies. It is able to do this because the Nigeria Petroleum Exchange (NIPEX) has qualified it as a vendor of 23 products and services to companies in Nigeria’s petroleum industry.
