Truecaller, an app designed to identify callers and spammers has introduced a new feature in its app that helps users send a flash message. All you have to do is tap on the “thunder bolt’ icon found next to any Truecaller contact in your call log. This feature is a new way of sending pre-defined messages to friends and family to inform them of your current situation or location. The most interesting part about the flash messaging feature is that your network provider doesn’t charge you, but you do need a data connection or Wi-Fi connection.
