PEAS 2013 Studies have shown that PAs contribute as much as 40% to their boss’s productivity and about 68% to the overall executive effectiveness. The Personal or Executive Assistant’s role is pivotal yet very challenging. For this reason, PEAS was put together to create a platform for mindshare. On Saturday 20th July, 2013, PEAS will hold at the AGDC Learning Centre, 5, Maitama Sule Street, off Raymond Njoku, Falomo Ikoyi. Admission to the programme, which kicks off at 10am prompt, is free. PEAS is an acronym for Personal & Executive Assistants’ Summit. It is a summit put together by a Personal Assistant for all Personal Assistants, Executive Assistants, Office Managers, Secretaries and Administrators, etc. with the aim to develop practical skills, enhance productivity and proffer solutions to the issues that are relevant to the PA job/role in today’s challenging business environment. PEAS seeks to create a network of PAs and EAs who are dedicated to continuous growth and development and in the long run build a team of the world’s most sought-after PAs. The Personal and Executive Assistant Summit (PEAS) is more than just a gathering, training or talk-shop. Based on the understanding that the 21st century workplace is highly competitive and ever changing, it seeks to help participants to survive this competitive business economy, by arming them with the tools and skills that are relevant for success in their chosen field; that is what this year’s Personal and Executive Assistant Summit (PEAS) is about. The maiden edition was held last year and it was very impactful. The theme for this year’s summit is The Indispensable PA. This theme was birthed from the desire to see PAs and EAs excel beyond the boundaries of being assistants to become strategic partners. This year, the focus will be on learning the skills that will make participants indispensable at work.
