Estimated at over 87 billion US dollars, the retail sector in Nigeria is expected to grow to over 230 billion dollars by 2030, according to a 2013 McKinsey report. However, not less than 35% of Nigeria’s revenue is lost due to inefficiencies in a majority of retail businesses.

With this in mind, Retail Convergence is focused on proffering technology-based solutions to enable retail businesses within the country become more efficient in their output. This month, business owners from all over the country will gather to discuss, with technology at its centre, how the retail sector can benefit from the importance of gathering data, how it is critical to the success of their business operations and how to take maximize on these insight for making decisions and acquiring strategies required to have a competitive advantage in business.
