Registrations for the 2020 edition of the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon has fully commenced.
With over 105,000 participants set to feature in the race, the event will hold on February 8, 2020 and will see athletes from various parts of the world alongside individuals that want to be part of the fun compete for the 50,000 dollars winner’s prize. The race will commence at 6:30am with routes closed for vehicle users and motorists to avoid accidents and delays.

The starting point for the race is Western Avenue, in front of the National Stadium Surulere, opposite Teslim Balogun Stadium, while the finish line will be in front of Eko Atlantic City, Victoria Island. Registration is currently ongoing online at the cost of 5,000 naira.
Dates for collection of Runing Numbers at the Teslim Balogun Stadium will soon be released and participants are advised have proof of identification for collection. If a participant wants someone else to collect their running numbers on their behalf, the representative must come to the office with a printed out copy of the form or the final confirmation received by email. The collector must also have proof of identification to do this. All participants will receive a running race vest.
Those who finish the race are guaranteed medals and certificates of participation.
