We are announcing today that the Connect Nigeria Business Fair scheduled to hold on the 6th and 7th of March, 2020 at TBS, Lagos has been postponed indefinitely. We will provide an update as soon as we have a new date.

This decision follows the evolving developments, continuing uncertainty, and global concerns regarding the coronavirus, and specifically, the Directive from the (Nigerian) Federal Ministry of Health on 28 February, 2020 to avoid large public gatherings. This decision comes after much thoughtful discussion with our internal team and consultation with outside counsel, and in agreement with the management of Connect Nigeria. We firmly believe that we are making the most sensible decision, so as not to jeopardize the health and safety of registrants, staff, and the public.

Connect Nigeria prides itself on being a socially responsible business, and we hope that our partners, sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, and registered attendees understand and support our decision. We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary change in plans may cause.

We are liaising with the Federal Ministry of Health and will announce a new date as soon as we receive a clear directive to do so.

We appreciate the collaboration and flexibility of our partners, exhibitors, and speakers, in working with us as we await further directive from the Federal Ministry of Health. We look forward to holding the 8th Edition of the Connect Nigeria Business Fair as soon as an all clear is given.

Most of all, we hold in our thoughts all those affected by the coronavirus.

We appreciate that our partners and other stakeholders value the Business Fair and we thank you for your patience as we work through this challenging situation. For further updates, please watch for communications from us or visit our website, www.connectnigeria.com/bizfair
