This trend is largely beyond just pictures now as radio and TV shows now use this avenue to play songs from the past or talk about ancient trends. #FlashBackFriday (FBF): Similar to the throw back Thursday, this hashtag is also an avenue for people to post pictures from the past. People mostly use much older pictures on FBF and sometimes place them in comparison with current looks. #Friyay: Made popular by Snapchat, friyay depicts the excitement that comes with the weekend feeling. A time people get to relax and have fun. #SaturdaySelfies: It’s the weekend, apparently a lot of people like to relax and have fun and an essential feature of that in the 21st century is selfies. So people post selfies they take ad they go about their Saturday. #SundayFunday: With over 31 million tags on Instagram, Sunday Funday as the name implies features people showing off their fun filled activities on Sundays.
