In the first part of How To Get The Job And Achieve Your Career Goal This Year , tips were given on how to acquire a job that you have always desired. Many times, conventional means of applying for a job can prove ineffective, so here in part two I provide more ways by which you can work your way out of unemployment.   Find Who Needs What You Have: This Is As Simple As Finding The Right Employer That Needs What You Have: There are tons of ways you can do this but in all, you need to find the employer that needs you and what you have got to offer and then approach them to let them know what you’ve got to offer. I talked extensively about this in Episode 2 of the show; you can download and listen to it at 3 Smart Tips To Help You Get The Job Of Your Dream – Part 2   Write Your Way Into The Job You Want After sorting out your Unique Selling Point and knowing the right employer who needs what you have, the next thing is to take your time to write what I love to call A Job Brief which simply is a combination of three powerful sales pitch-like tools: your resume, cover letter and your value added brief which explains how you can be an asset and a solution to the specific problem your prospective employers presently have. This stage is really a kind of tough one and it’s not for the lazy or fainthearted as you need to carefully craft your job brief in a way that will position you as what your prospective employers need. I also talk about this in Episode 3 of the show – 3 Smart Tips To Help You Land The Job Of Your Dream.   Stop Running After Every Job This is another mistake you will want to avoid in this New Year. Maybe in the past, all you’ve done is applying for every job you can get around with the hope of landing one out of those many jobs been advertised. This in the real sense only wastes your precious time without getting you any results and I believe you won’t want to repeat the same mistake again this new year. I’ve talked about this previously in Episode 13 , Episode 12 and Episode 11 of the show.   Take A Step And Do Something These 2 things I’ve mentioned here, if you can keep them in mind and follow every step I highlighted here, will help you get a better result than you’ve had in the past. I can go on and on writing and producing lots of episode of the show but if you don’t take any action, nothing and I mean nothing will happen. Life and prosperity favour the bold and the action takers and I will like you to be one of those bold ones who will do all it takes to get the job they want. If I’m asked to give you one last advice here to help you land a job as fast as you want it this New Year, I will say, go out there and make things happen. Do everything you can, even more than you have done in the past, follow every single piece of advice and tips I’ve mentioned here in this post and watch as your dream job will stop being a dream but a reality soon.
