The Connect Nigeria Top 100 Emerging SMEs has reached its final stages as voting by members of the public commences on Friday the 25th of May. The exercise, the first-ever of its kind, was flagged off on February 12th, 2018 with the opening of the top 100 website for nominations of deserving businesses by members of the public. Nominations were sent in on the basis of set out criteria on the website. This qualifying stage saw the emergence of 250 businesses as finalists after rigorous screening and verification in line with the objectives of the exercise. In order for the finalist to cross the final hurdle, members of the public now have the opportunity to cast their votes for deserving SMEs at www.connectnigeria.com/vote The Connect Nigeria Top 100 Emerging SMEs is powered by Connect Nigeria; Nigeria’s information portal, sponsored by Union Bank. Other partners are LCCI (The Lagos state Chamber of Commerce), Sawubona Consulting and Advisory, British Council. Voting ends on Friday the 22nd of June 2018 and the Top 100 Emerging SMEs will be presented to the world on the 25th of June 2018.
