Fast-growing online retail store, Konga.com, has announced it is organizing the bigger sale ever in Nigeria through its ‘Fall Yakata’ Christmas Sale. The company said that the ‘Fall Yakata’ sales campaign is similar to the Black Friday and Cyber Monday that is organised annually in Western climes. The sale will begin on Friday November 29th at 9 a.m and close on Monday December 2nd at 9 p.m. “The sale is the biggest of any sale ever done by any retailer online or offline in Nigeria,” a statement from Konga read. You may have heard of Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales in the US and Europe, and Konga.com is bringing you two days of mind blowing price slashes,” it added. Several consumer goods would be sold at highly reduced prices during the period of the campaign. “Imagine the Play Station 4 being sold for N60,000 instead of N138,000 regular prices, Ruby Woo lipstick that is normally N4,000 sold for N2,000 or Tecno Phantom A+ phone that is N39,000 that will be sold for only N19,000,” Konga said.
