Ikeja City Mall Thrills Shoppers with Music and Fashion Show

The second edition of the Ikeja Mall Music and Fashion Show held at the Ikeja Mall on Friday, 13th of September. The event began at 5pm and by this time, the sitting area was packed, the runway and lights were set up, and the models were ready to go. The show kicked off with a live music performance by a young girl, who entertained the audience in a sweet little voice and left in the wake of grins and a resounding applause. This set the stage for the host, Soundcity’s S-Dot, who ushered in the musicians and subsequently, the models. Six stores had their clothing paraded on the runway, namely: Nike, Levi, Foschini, Woolworths, Twice as Nice and Adidas. Other musical talents such as T-songz, Korede Bello, I-rap, Mykeyo, Karate kid, and El-phlex, the winner of Project Fame 2012, Ayoola, thrilled the audience with their performances. Baileys took the half time to showcase its new bottle with beautiful models strutting with it in gold sequinned dresses. In case anybody was wondering if the drink tasted as good as the bottle looked, everybody in the audience was graciously handed a drink sample. Shoprite provided free food and drinks for the audience. The food and music set a mellow ambience, and if the fashion show didn’t meet its promise of glamorous and glitzy, it certainly made for a delightful evening.
