[Photo credit: www.skysports.com] Nigeria whiz-kid Kelechi Iheanacho made headlines over the weekend when he scored thrice to help his club side, Manchester City to a comfortable 4-0 win over Aston Villa in the fourth round of the FA Cup. Iheanacho was given the chance to play upfront after Manchester City coach Manuel Pellegrini decided to rest his superstar forward Sergio Aguero and other household names like Yaya Toure for the tie. Iheanacho, 19, grabbed the opportunity with both hands; scoring two goals in the first half before completing his hat-trick in the second half. Iheanacho has now scored eight goals for Manchester City in all competitions this season. He will be hoping to feature and earn his first winner’s medal in English football when Manchester City face Liverpool in the Capital One Cup final later this month. In another related news, Super Eagles hopeful Chuba Akpom also grabbed a hat-trick for Hull City on Saturday in their fourth round FA Cup encounter against Bury whilst Odion Ighalo scored the only goal of the game for Watford against Nottingham Forest after coming on as a 72nd minute substitute.
