You’re probably just posting pictures of your products on social media and you’re expecting people to just buy from you? That won’t work. When posting pictures of your clothing, you should not just place it on a blank background, you can make use of models. And if you’re on a budget, make use of mannequins or even mockups to display your products. In all, ensure you have quality pictures.

As a fashion brand, you can create a lead magnet such as a style book or style guide, which shares tips on how to style clothing pieces. It could be an eBook or a simple template. You can definitely think out creative ideas for a lead magnet that will be used to collect emails address. You could have that on your website or social media bio. This way, for people to access it (since it is usually free), they will have to enter their email addresses and have you send it to them. Shoot emails from time to time, targeting and retargeting your customers.

Engage on social media

This is different from just making your posts. You need to actually engage with other people’s posts. Like and comment on posts made by your followers and accounts owned by people you feel will be your prospective customers. Engage with them personally and talk about your brand. Just see it as walking up to a prospect with a “hi” and a smile, and telling them about your product.
