It’s never too late to adopt new habits which can positively influence your health, dropping bad habits and picking up good ones that benefit you. And it does not even have to be complex decisions and difficult lifestyle changes, it can be little convenient changes you would easily adjust to. Once you get used to them, they become part of your routine. If you have not incorporated the following into your life as normal habits, it is time to do so.

Fruit consumption: You should take fruits at least once a day to aid digestion and also help the body in detoxifying itself of harmful wastes. Fruit eating is a pretty harmless habit and you should try and incorporate it into your lifestyle. Fruits are not that expensive to get, you can even make juices and drinks out of them.

Punctuality: This year, you should say goodbye to lateness and procrastination. When you have to be somewhere, endeavor to plan ahead so that you can get there on time. Punctuality is the soul of business and being habitually late to appointments does you no good instead it robs you of time to be invested for productivity and the peace of mind that comes with being early. Pick up the habit of punctuality this year and watch your productivity grow.

Exercise: It does not have to be strenuous, just jogging or running at regular intervals is enough to keep your body fit if you are not currently overweight. However, if you are looking to lose some weight, then an exercise plan might be needed. You can indulge in simple sports such as swimming, playing soccer, tennis or badminton to keep your body sharp.

Hygiene: Both personal and general hygiene should be paid attention to at all times. Try to keep yourself and your environment clean; do not get sick just because you are dirty. Imbibe simple habits like washing your hands regularly and cleaning your restrooms on a weekly basis. Remember that cleanliness is next to godliness.

Prudence in spending: It is the wise man that saves for a rainy day, cultivate the habit of spending less and saving more. You never can tell when the extra savings will come in handy, so this year, try and save more. A good way to do this is to only buy things you need and cut down on unnecessary luxuries.
