Gospel Rapper Lacrae Visits Nigeria

American gospel hip hop recording artiste Lacrae is set to visit Nigeria in the middle of the year as part of his All Things Work Together 2018 World Tour. The tour is also part of activities to promote this Grammy Award winner’s eighth studio album titled “All Things Work Together” album released in September last year. According to his website, the tour which is scheduled to take him to 3 continents will culminate in Africa, with concerts in Nairobi; Kenya, Cape Town, and Johannesburg; South Africa, Kampala; Uganda, with Nigeria getting a slice of the action on Wednesday, the 6^th of June, 2018, 7PM at Eko Convention Center – Lagos. The All Things Work Together Album The 14 track album which includes production efforts by Nigerian John Toluwani, has been described as a “purpose-driven effort of profound introspection and cunning social critique”. Hiphopdx.com further elaborates “All Things Work Together is the culmination of Lecrae’s unapologetic faith combined with his ambition to spread his message through Hip-Hop. His naked honesty and knack for conveying relatable emotions make the album one of his best projects to date” Lecrae Devaughn Moore’s debut album “Real Talk” was released in 2004, ever since then, he has won a string of awards, including two Grammy Awards and a whopping seven Dove Awards. In 2013, the 38-year-old became the first hip-hop artiste to have won the Grammy Award for Best Gospel Album, awarded to his sixth album, Gravity, and became the first rapper to win the BET Award for Best Gospel Artist in 2015.
