As an integral component of the Africa Food Systems Forum (AFSF), the GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize Competition 2025, Now Accepting Applications, aligns with the 2025 AFSF theme: “Africa’s Youth: Leading Collaboration, Innovation and Implementation of Agri-Food Systems Transformation.”
The competition aims to empower youth entrepreneurs from all five regions of Africa (West, Northern, Southern, Central, and Eastern) who are ready to showcase, grow, and scale their agrifood ventures.
Who Can Apply
Eligible candidates must:
- Be 35 years old or younger when applying
- Hold citizenship in an African Union member country
- Be a founder or co-founder of a legally registered business operating in Africa (businesses must be registered by June 10, 2025)

Award Details
- Two $50,000 grand prizes will be awarded to the top male-led and female-led agribusinesses.
- Additional $60,000 in Impact Awards will recognise exceptional businesses in areas including:
- Technology and innovation
- Nutrition and food security
- Rural livelihood improvement
- Climate resilience
- Gender equity
- Natural resource conservation
- Job creation
