Evangelist Reinhard Bonke is coming to Nigeria for a farewell crusade in November. Are you excited? You probably are not because you do not know who he is or what impact his coming would have to Christianity in Nigeria. Evangelism is the idea of proclaiming the gospel and winning of converts to the Christian faith, a fundamental principle of the Church’s mission in the world. One of such people who has changed the face of evangelism is Reinhard Bonke. Evangelist Reinhard Bonke is known for his great Gospel Crusades across Africa. He is a son of a pastor who gave his life to the Lord at the age of nine and has been in the African mission field from his teenage ages. For over 50 years, he has been hosting “Fire Conferences” in many countries of the world among other things. He had visited Nigeria, eight long years ago, during a crusade titled “Great Millennium Crusade”, a crusade that had millions of people waving their hands and heart to God. He is coming again to Nigeria and this time for a farewell crusade. While we would definitely miss him, it would be wrong to miss out on a power packed event that would host no fewer than 30 million people from Nigeria and across the continent. The crusade is designed to liberate Nigeria and her people from social vices, one of which is corruption. The theme of the farewell gospel crusade is “Passing the Torch” and would be held on the 8th– 12th of November, 2017, at 4 pm daily. The event activities would take place at Sparklight Estate, Berger, opposite Opicplaza at Lagos Ibadan Expressway.
