D’banj Performs at the Closing Ceremony of AFCON 2013

Nigeria’s biggest Pop star, D’banj performed at the closing ceremony of the 2013 African Cup of Nation, last night. He performed his hit songs, Oliver Twist and Top of The World — chosen as the theme song for the competition. He entertained the crowd and, viewers at big screen centres across the continent, as they watched him style — in dance steps, smiles and lyrics.

D’banj’s music influence is growing around the continent and he’s the only Nigeria — so far — that has first rate international record deals, signed to Def Jam, Sony Music, Mercury and G.O.O.D Music.

D’banj joined the Super Eagles of Nigeria on the pitch during their victory celebration, as champions of the competition.  His album is expected soon, and will feature Kanye West.
