Enugu state is a great tourism destination in Nigeria. The weather and landscape make it as special as being in Jos, Plateau state. That’s because there are undulating Plateaus, nature’s scenic views and cosy recreational spots.

Each lake as a distinguishing feature. For instance, some lakes are interconnected. While one lake has a fluctuating density of algae and Phytoplankton depending on the season visitors show up. With a guided tour, this complex is a great experience for tourists.

Enugu Museum

Also known as National Museum of Unity, it houses relics from the post-colonial era, details of the Coal city and defensive weapons from the Biafra war in its three galleries. All of which comes with a guided tour. It was established after the Nigeria/Biafran war to foster unity in Nigeria and it is in Enugu North LGA. Awhum waterfalls and Cave – Close to the Awhum Monastery in Udi LGA, this massive granite rock outcrop is a sight to behold especially with the cascading waterfall. This spot is great for birdwatching and taking great pictures with the cool scenery.
