The lockdown declared in Lagos, Abuja, and Ogun has given rise to a high rate of robberies perpetuated by hoodlums taking advantage of the situation. For the past few days, residents of some parts of Ogun and Lagos have had to bear the responsibility of protecting themselves and their loved ones from armed men raiding their vicinities. This, unfortunately, is due to the failure of law enforcement officials to respond to the calls of affected residents in those areas.

Nevertheless, there have also been positive outcomes in others areas of these states, with policemen responding swiftly once they are alerted about a robbery incidence. While we all hope for the best, it is still beneficial to be able to contact law enforcement officials in case of a robbery in your vicinity.
