Children’s Day (27 May) and Democracy Day (29 May) are two upcoming public holidays. Here are fun ways you and your family can make the best of the break:

Children’s Day Tours

Omu Resort at Ibeju, Lekki in Lagos is having a Children’s day fun festival. The event runs from 26th – 29th May from 9 am – 5 pm (except on the 27th which is 2 pm – 5 pm). Highlights include jumping and other fun activities. The fee of ₦10,000 per child covers food, tour fare, ice cream delight and a goodie bag. Family Picnic comes up on May 27th at Nike Laker Resort (lakeside) and the deadline for payment ins May 23rd. The fees are ₦20,000 for a family of two, ₦25,000 for a family of three – four and ₦30,000 for a family of 5-6. Payment covers Picnic basket, picnic mat, snacks, music, fun games, competition, family competitions and gifts to be won. This event allows parents spend productive time with their children. Although a deposit of ₦10,000 made by May 20th will secure you a spot; it doesn’t hurt to still contact the organizers for a chance to be a part of this event. Democracy Day Tours

Discoveria’s promo to Inagbe Resort at Odofin in Lagos on the 29th of May may be over but you can still take part in the tour.
