  Are you a Nigerian artist with a passion for social change? The Simply Poetry Foundation, in collaboration with the Dike Chukwumerije Centre and with funding from the Ford Foundation, invites applications for the second cohort of the Building Bridges Project for Creatives.

This 8-week Building Bridges Project for Creatives aims to equip creatives with skills to combat divisive narratives through their art. The training consists of 6 weeks of virtual learning followed by a 2-week in-person residency in Abuja.

Who Should Apply:

  • Nigerian creatives between 18-40 years old
  • Practitioners in spoken word, dance, music, visual arts, film/theatre production, or scriptwriting
  • Individuals committed to addressing social challenges in Nigeria, especially tribalism and religious intolerance
Register to attend the CN Business Mixer
  • Those able to participate in online sessions from May 31 to July 13, 2025
  • Those available to attend the mandatory in-person residency in Abuja from July 14-27, 2025
