The company is a subsidiary of UAC (United Africa Company) Nigeria, which also plays in several other niches, including the FMCG, paints, and real estate industries. As such, UAC Foods represents an age-old concern in the country’s commercial sector, as its parent company is among Nigeria’s longest surviving businesses.

UAC Nigeria created UAC Foods in 2010, through a partnership with Tiger Brands, a South African packaged food producer. Both companies held a stake in UAC Foods until 2021 when UAC Nigeria took over Tiger Brand’s minority share in the business. Following this move, UAC assumed full control of UAC Foods.

Another of UAC Foods’ products is Funtime Chips, a snack brand which its parent company introduced in 1992. Items under this brand name include Funtime Coconut Chips, Funtime Groundnut Chips, and Funtime Cupcake. There’s also the Supreme Ice Cream, with its vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry variants. These products are available in several quantities and package types.

UAC Foods’ Swan Spring Water is a popular bottled water product. Its producers say that they extract it from natural springs and that it doesn’t contain chemical additives.

All of UAC Foods’ products are on sale at stores across Nigeria. Buyers can also purchase them in larger quantities from various online stores.
