Futureview was Incorporated in 1993 and commenced operations three years later. In the decades that followed, it grew into a major player in Nigeria’s investment banking space. In 2003, it was one of only two financial advisors appointed by the Federal Government to advise on the government’s issuance of a ₦150 billion bond to the public. Its expertise in Issuing House and Investment Advisory services made it sought after by banks that were raising capital in order to comply with the capital requirements set by the CBN in 2005.

Closer to the present, Fututeview has built and strengthened relationships with several major banks in Nigeria, as well as in the United Kingdom and Switzerland. It also has connections with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and is a representative to Africa for the European Economic Development Council (EEDC). The Bureau de Change promises competitive market rates, fast, secure, and reliable transportation, and bespoke customer care.

Futureview’s abilities in fund and portfolio management derive from the cumulative years of experience and expertise of its team, amounting to over 300 transactions. Its strengths in this space are widely recognized.

The firm was appointed by the National Council on Privatization (NCP) as a lead stockbroker for the transfer of shares to institutional investors. It was a member of the CBN’s Technical Committee on the bank’s recapitalization. And in 2012, it was appointed a primary market maker for selected equities at the Nigerian Stock Exchange following an extended selection process.

Futureview runs with a vision of becoming the leading investment bank in the world. It’s a tough aim to reach, but Futureview appears determined to achieve it, regardless of how improbable it seems to be.
