  If you are a budding entrepreneur and you’d like to gain the knowledge you need to build a successful business in Nigeria, you may consider applying to take part in the Bank of Industry (BOI) Entrepreneurship Program.

This initiative is specifically designed for entrepreneurs whose businesses are solving pressing problems or contributing positively to the development of the communities and regions in which they are active. It is open to NYSC members, graduates of higher institutions (universities and polytechnics), and potential BOI clients.

Persons who take part in this program will benefit from it in the following ways:
  • Learn entrepreneurship orientation and what they need to become successful business owners
  • Gain useful knowledge of business management that will enable them to steer their enterprise towards sustainable growth
  • Acquire skills with which they can make a positive impact in their industries and target markets

Eligibility

This program is open to persons who meet these criteria:
  • Be at least 18 years, a citizen or legal resident of Nigeria
  • Run a business that is in its start-up phase or has been active for a number of years
  • Must be able to participate in the program for as long as it lasts (three months)
  • Should have at least completed Secondary School education (and attained qualifications via the SSCE)

Note: In order to receive a certificate at the end of the program, you must attend at least 80% of the sessions in each course and score at least 60% in all of them.
