This fellowship is expected to help such people gain the skills, resources, and networks they need to grow their businesses and expand their impact.

The Western Union Foundation Fellowship Program is facilitated by mentors and speakers with deep expertise in driving positive change within communities at the margins of society. Fellows will connect with other inspirational entrepreneurs, experienced leaders, and potential funders, and build up resources for scaling their ventures.

Eligibility

This program is open to persons who meet the following criteria:
  • Experienced the challenges faced by refugee, displaced, and marginalised communities, and are working to solve the problems they face
  • A non-profit or for-profit organisation caters to the underserved with a working business model, and is looking to scale
  • Venture must be located in an eligible country (e.g. Nigeria)
