  the UONGOZI Institute has announced its Women’s Leadership Program for 2024 to tackle challenges hindering women from occupying senior leadership positions in their workplace. It is an initiative aimed at helping senior and emerging female leaders navigate leadership challenges.

The Women’s Leadership Program aims to enhance the ability of women to make strategic choices, lead people and resources, and flourish in their personal and leadership qualities. Women selected for the program will have access to unparalleled learning opportunities such as the Women’s Leadership Forum, training, mentoring, and coaching. It also affords them the opportunity to access thought leaders around the globe.

Selected participants will gain access to fully-funded scholarships, which will cover travel expenses, program fees, books, refreshments, and meals during in-person sessions, and membership at the resource centre of the UONGOZI Institute.

To be eligible for the program

  • It is open to African women occupying middle- and senior-level positions across diverse sectors.
  • The applicant must have at least five years of experience in supervisory, managerial, and leadership roles.
  • You must have at least seven years of work experience.
  • The applicant must hold a minimum bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
