The Nigeria Higher Education Foundation (NHEF) Scholars Program targets students in their penultimate year and supports them with internships, training sessions, mentorships, and networking opportunities. They get to build capacities through practical experience, learn from professionals, and nurture relationships with program alumni who are excelling in their industries.

Students in the following institutions are eligible for the program:
  • Ahmadu Bello University
  • Bayero University
  • University of Ibadan
  • University of Lagos
  • University of Nigeria, Nsukka
  • University of Port Harcourt

This program is open to persons who meet the following criteria:
  • Be a student in their penultimate year at one of the universities listed above
  • Demonstrate excellence in academics, extracurricular activities and career pursuits
  • Be committed to community service
